Conversations

Inspired by the installation of the Healing Garden, Treliske Hospital, I started to take note of some conversations I’d had there. Families were supported through difficult times in the healing garden; sick people recovered; some people were able to pass away peacefully within a hospital bed surrounded by nature, and it stimulated further conversations around nature's ability to heal. Some conversations were recorded in a book, the aim of which is to stimulate further thinking and discussion. Anyone passing the garden can now delve deeper into this website, where visitors are encouraged to share their thoughts via an online form. Some of the conversations inspired by ‘A Place to Heal’ are gathered together below.
